I took my dog here last year. Dr Coffey took an x-ray of my dog and said his gallbladder was enlarged. He did not do any blood work or any further testing. He prescribe my dog gallbladder medicine. I asked about doing blood work and Dr coffey said he didn't want to do any until my dog had been on the medicine for a while. How would we know if it's working if we have no blood work initially to compare it to? I took my dog to the regular vet a few weeks later and they looked at my dog's gallbladder and did blood work and said it was not enlarged. They asked if Dr Coffey did any blood work and I said no. We both thought it was strange to diagnose a dog with an enlarged gallbladder but not do any blood work. When I called Dr coffey and told him our regular vet said his gallbladder was okay, Dr coffey did not have any explanation and did not say anything about why he told us it was enlarged. I was upset that my dog had taken medicine for his gallbladder when there was nothing wrong with it.

We had such a great experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Ryan, the veterinary assistant, was so kind, knowledgeable, and informative, and Dr. Coffey was absolutely wonderful! He was personable, compassionate, and genuinely cared about both us and our dogs. The facility is clean and spacious. We never felt rushed. Dr. Coffey took the time to get to know us, thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment plan, and walked us through every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. There is no wait except when they had to take her back for her exam and they even offered us a variety of drinks for that short waiting period, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much they care about their patients and their families. You can tell this urgent care truly prioritizes comfort, compassion, and exceptional care. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing veterinary team. Thank you guys for taking such wonderful care of our babies! ❤️🐾

My dog started limping and not eating or drinking normal. After a couple of days of no improvement, with an older dog I started imagining the worst so I took my dog to LocalVet Urgent Care. The staff and veterinarian were very kind and respectful. They did some tests and analysis and determined my dog had an infection in their leg. They gave my dog fluids through injection and antibiotics through injection and then prescribed medicine for me to give my dog at home. All medications were provided on the spot. The next day my dog's leg was significantly improved and he began eating and drinking normally. By the second day after the visit, my dog was completely normal with no apparent issues. I'm pleased with the results and would recommend LocalVet Urgent Care to anyone who's pet needs medical attention. I am thankful to LocalVet Urgent Care and their staff for helping my best friend heal and feel normal again.

Tusk had been throwing up but stopped. Of course, he started again 3 days later on the weekend. I took him to the clinic and received a very nice welcome. I was offered a drink several and asked if there was anything they could do for me. Tusk was taken care of and given meds but they requested him to return the next day to re-do the x-rays and give him more fluids. The x-rays this time showed something in his stomach. He needed to have surgery. They took great care of him and kept me informed often. The stinker had eaten half of a baseball. I don’t even know how he swallowed pieces so big!! I highly recommend this clinic.

Great care from the whole team. Our girl needed surgery (for a femoral head break) and they did a stellar job with the procedure but more importantly with the after care! When we first went in for her limp, Dr Cofey had a warm and grounding presense that is vital in this scary emergency situations.
